It is a pleasure to share with you our summary of the first quarter of 2024 at Axiatech. It has been a period full of challenges and significant learning experiences, but we are delighted to report that we have successfully overcome every obstacle, thanks to our experience, advanced engineering, and technological resources.
One of the highlights of this quarter was our participation in the construction of an electrical transmission project that will power one of the most important ports on the continent. Located in one of the most complex areas of Colombia, this project faced geological, geotechnical, logistical, and environmental challenges. However, in collaboration with our client, we implemented disruptive and unconventional alternatives to ensure that the project was completed within the established timeframe, thus demonstrating our commitment to engineering excellence.
Furthermore, we have consolidated an innovative solution for constructing compact substation foundations in record time. We develop, design, manufacture, and build a plug-and-play foundation alternative for urban distribution substations in cities where metropolitan dynamics play a crucial role. We have successfully constructed foundations for structures weighing up to 30 tons in under 72 hours, demonstrating our ability to deliver efficient and effective solutions in complex urban environments.
In addition to our achievements in specific projects, we have continued to fulfill our mission of training and transferring knowledge and technology to consulting firms, construction companies, and project owners. We are confident that our proposals will add value to the development of new projects in the region.
We have also assisted new potential clients in formulating significant projects for Latin America’s electrical infrastructure. We are committed to effectively implementing the available options in our portfolio and to continuing to study and develop new solutions to address the challenges posed by global energy needs.
